Deafverse: How a Game Teaches Deaf Teens to Level Up in Life

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

**This session will be presented in ASL with a live voice interpreter**

Deafverse is a web-based, full-motion video game that invites players to navigate tough situations that deaf people typically encounter in school, the workplace, and other aspects of "adulting". Inspired by classic choose-your-own-adventure books and text-based computer games—the narrative is experienced in American Sign Language!

Deafverse was developed by an all-deaf team at the National Deaf Center on Postsecondary Outcomes (NDC) with existing evidence-based research.
